It seems the Somalian pirates are on the run and are being captured or found across the globe. They are being found in the African waters, the North Atlantic and even a few in the English Channel. However, this does not seem to be the end of the story. What are believed to be copycat pirates have been found in numerous places (mainly near Southeast Asia).
Getting back to the original pirates, though it seems that they are waining in power and surprise, they certainly have no intention of going down without a fight. Nine of the suspected pirates were captured after trying to unsuccessfully capture an Italian luxury liner off the coast of Seychelles (a small chain of islands north of Madagascar).
Moving on from pirates, a while back it seemed that the nation of Japan was losing money at a huge pace and was believed to go 'bankrupt'. The Japanese's response to this was new investments and a vast changing of prices in its companies. In fact, at least 23 companies stated that their sales would be dropping drastically and would continue go down steadily in their stocks. However, it does seem that Japan may be able to pull themselves out of this yet!
